My tree is a rental

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to start thinking about Christmas! Yeah...right! If you've already got a case of the Jingle Bells, you might want to consider where you'll purchase your tree this year. Today, we stumbled upon a great economical and environmental alternative to the parking lot tree lot.

The Living Christmas Company and Bob Nursery in Manhattan Beach are offering rented potted living trees delivered to your doorstep. When Christmas is over, they pick up your tree and return it to the nursery. Once the trees are back at the nursery, they are cared for until the next holiday rental season. The trees that become unsuitable for the next rental season are donated to a tree planting organization or become part of an Urban Reforestation Project.
