Southwest Airlines announced their plans for creating The Green Plane at its annual media day on October 21. The Green Plane, which is in beta-mode, will show it's greeness on the inside with 100 percent recyclable carpet by InterfaceFLOR , seats made with e-Leather and IZIT Leather. They are also testing out a new life-vest pouch and new filling for their seats. Read more here.
